A simple and hearty porridge, with just a few basic additions to add a real creaminess and just a hint of sweetness.

Ingredients

1/3 cup organic rolled oats

1 cup almond milk

1/4 cup coconut cream
-
1 tbsp peanut butter
-
1 tbsp date water
-
4-6 dates
-
1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp of blueberries
Method

In a pot, place oats with almond milk and coconut cream then bring to a boil. Stir and reduce heat to low, then simmer until desired consistency is reached.

In the mean time, add dates to a small bowl and cover with boiling water. Leave to soak while the oats are cooking.

Before removing from heat, stir through peanut butter and cinnamon.

Once the dates are soft, add these to the oats along with the date water and mix.

Serve with warmed berries on top.
